Livin Lively

Livin Lively is meant to be a catalyst for Spiritual growth. My desire in starting this site is to offer free and easily accessible Bible studies in order to inspire and encourage a deeper knowledge of God’s Word. As you get to know His Word better, you will know Him better. And as a result, you will find purpose and joy in your life like you have never known before. Peggy Emerson Lively graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Pre-Nursing. She also completed her Associates Degree from McLennan Community College, School of Nursing, and received her license as a Registered Nurse. She and her husband, Mike, served in ministry with Young Life, a non-denominational outreach ministry to high school students, for thirteen years.

Peggy’s primary role with Young Life was mentoring college women who were volunteer leaders for the ministry. Through these relationships, she has written two discipleship booklets: “The Aroma of Christ” and “Above Reproach,” to assist leaders as they disciple others. She has also written a study titled “Am I Satisfied?” for a Beloved Women’s Ministry Retreat, a study titled “Hypocrite or Human?” and a devotional book titled “Life Lessons: Hearing God Speak Through Everyday Things.”

Peggy joined the ministry of Lily7, a web-based, college women’s ministry, in 2003, and wrote online Bible studies and articles for their ministry through 2010. Peggy and her sister, Chris Baxter, also started a women’s outreach ministry called “Walking with Hope” in December 2009.

Peggy and Mike live in Houston, Texas where Mike is the Student Pastor at Gateway Community Church, and Peggy is a volunteer leader for women’s ministry. They have four children: Jared, Austin, Carrie and Nathan.
